Dr. Patrick Stiller has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions. Over the course of his career, he has successfully completed more than 50 transactions, with over half involving international buyers, investors or counterparties.
Prior to founding STILLER ADVISORS, Dr. Stiller spent more than ten years with Voith Group, serving both as Managing Director of operating businesses and as an M&A advisor to companies in the mechanical and plant engineering, technology and business services sectors. His transaction experience includes projects throughout Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and India.
Dr. Stiller is a graduate of the M&A Program at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), one of the world's leading programmes for M&A professionals.
Academic Background
Dr. Stiller studied business administration at the University of Passau, where he subsequently earned his doctorate (summa cum laude). His doctoral dissertation focused on corporate divestitures.
During his time as a Research Associate at the University of Passau, Dr. Stiller taught and conducted research in the field of mergers and acquisitions. His research focused on corporate divestitures and value creation strategies. As part of the chair's advisory team, he advised DAX-listed corporations as well as medium-sized companies on these topics.
In addition, he lectured at the State Academy of Management in Moscow, Corvinus University in Budapest, and the Administrative and Business Academy (VWA) in Bavaria.
In addition, Dr. Stiller successfully completed two multi-year specialised language programmes in English and Mandarin Chinese. During his studies, he spent an academic year abroad in Beijing and Shanghai.
