Jürgen Haag has been active in M&A advisory for more than 25 years. During this time, he has successfully advised on well over 100 transactions with an aggregate value in the double-digit billion-euro range. Mr. Haag is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Tax Advisor and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Prior to joining STILLER ADVISORS, Mr. Haag spent eight years in the M&A department of Voith Group, an internationally active mechanical and plant engineering company, including four years as its head. During this period, he was involved in, among other transactions, the acquisition and sale of Voith's stake in robotics manufacturer KUKA and the divestiture of the services business Voith Industrial Services, employing approximately 20,000 people.
Jürgen Haag began his career in M&A at Ernst & Young (now EY). He spent more than eleven years in Transaction Advisory at the firm's offices in Stuttgart, Mannheim and New York City. During this time, he advised family-owned mid-sized companies as well as listed corporations in Germany and abroad on business sales and acquisitions.
Academic Background
Jürgen Haag studied Business Administration at the University of Stuttgart and graduated with distinction. His professional qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Tax Advisor and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) followed in the years thereafter.
