German-Chinese M&A Conference
On October 16 and 17, 2019, the first German-Chinese M&A Conference organized by the German M&A Association (Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitions - BMA) took place at the Haniel Campus in Duisburg. Dr. Patrick Stiller attended the event and joined discussions on cross-border M&A opportunities between Germany and China.
China has been a long-standing area of interest for Dr. Stiller since his Chinese language studies in Passau and Beijing in the 1990s. Since then, numerous business trips and private visits have provided valuable firsthand insights into one of the world's most important economic markets.
The conference offered in-depth perspectives on both inbound and outbound M&A opportunities and enhanced participants' understanding of the evolving regulatory frameworks governing transactions in Germany and China. As with every successful industry event, the conference also provided valuable networking opportunities, allowing Dr. Stiller to further expand his professional network in China.
